However, I did have two incidents where it got me lost, not being able to find a huge high school and pretty major hospital. So, I am gonna stick with Google for awhile. Happy New year!seanjsweeneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09778909223071512289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791470712005065306.post-79023446017818831312013-01-03T18:09:28.899-05:002013-01-03T18:09:28.899-05:00I do love Google Maps, but I found a great advanta...I do love Google Maps, but I found a great advantage to Apple's new Maps when I was driving around the South after ASHA this year. I didn't have data since I was just visiting the US, but I found my iPad map worked for my entire trip from Atlanta to Hilton Head even though I hadn't looked at maps for any area outside of Atlanta AND I was offline! You can read more about it here: http://appleinsider.com/articles/12/10/05/apples-new-ios-6-maps-support-automatic-offline-use-for-a-wide-area I was really grateful to have my position tracked by that little blue dot as I travelled around back roads without a good paper map. (I just reviewed Google Translate - my first Google app on my iPad on speakingofapps.com) Happy New Year Sean!Megan Suttonhttp://tactustherapy.com/noreply@blogger.com
